Our developing Design and Engineering department team is looking for an experienced piping engineer

You will report directly to the department head and your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Piping studies and 3D modelling

  • Completing piping design and/or checking tasks

  • Responsibility for piping on multiple jobs

  • Requirements to complete field work

· Responsibility for quality design deliverables

· Providing input and review of piping design scope and budget for proposal

  • Meeting project schedule and budget

  • Building piping catalogs for ShipConstructor, Plant 3D and other CAD software

  • Working with laser scan data (point clouds)

  • Development and creation of MTO’s, pipe supports & isometrics, coordination/layout drawings

  • Productive teamwork with designers and engineers to support projects’ successful fulfillment

You could match well with the role, if you have:

  • Proven piping design experience preferably in Oil & Gas, Industrial and/or Marine industry

  • Experience to work on projects, both on site and in office

  • Plant 3D software experience highly preferred (PDMS, ShipConstructor or similar)

Successful candidate must have:

  • Drafting or associate degree

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and experience in other 3D CAD software

  • Knowledge and experience of database systems
